Growing Closer Through Conversation
Simple questions to help parents and children know each other better.
As I’ve spent time thinking about what a relationship with Christ actually looks like, I’ve realized something that has changed the way I think about relationships with other people.
Spending time together and connecting with each other aren’t always the same thing.
It’s possible to spend an entire evening in the same room with another person and still not really know what’s going on in their heart.
This idea grew out of a desire to truly know the people God has placed in my life the way they were made to be known.
I want to be more intentional with my own children. I don’t just want to spend time near them. I want to understand them better. I want to ask better questions, listen more carefully, and continue getting to know the people God has entrusted to me.
These questions are simply an invitation to be fully present and engaged, laugh together, listen well, and grow closer through everyday conversation.
